  Lovely Roseville Park

Roseville is a city in Placer County, California.  With a population of just over 100,000  people it is Placer County 's largest and most important city.  Roseville has a diverse population of many different ethnicities, ages, and cultures.  Money magazine named Roseville one of the "Best Places to Retire, 2006".  However, Roseville also has excellent schools as well as universities.

The history of Roseville is quite interesting, as it was just a railroad shipping point that had only a tiny village population, until 1906-1908 when the railroad repairs facility was moved to Roseville .  Almost overnight, Roseville started to blossom.  The railroad, to this day plays a big part in Roseville 's charm.  Downtown consists of old Railroad town which over the past years and into the future has seen millions of dollars worth of revitalization. The city has already completed its Vernon Streetscape Project and is now working on its Historic District and Riverside Corridor Streetscape Projects.

The ultimate shopping destination is the Westfield Galleria at Roseville .  Not only does it have every store anyone could ever want to shop at, including Nordstrom's and Macy's as well as 165 other stores, but it also has 18 different dining options including the incredible Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and the decadent Il Fornaio.  Westfield has also even created a custom built stadium to house World Team Tennis and the Sacramento Capitals.

Another great destination for families is the Golfland Sunsplash Entertainment Center.  With an arcade, laser tag, different dining options, miniature golf, fastcar raceway, and the sunsplash water park with ten different water adventures, Golfland Sunsplash is the place to be for all ages!

A fine educational system, two library locations, extensive parks, greenbelt areas, walking and bicycle trails, as well as wonderful shopping has made Roseville an envied place to call home.
